After-hours care
If you have a concern about your recovery or surgery, contact our rooms as soon as possible. Outside business hours, email us, but for anything urgent also consider calling the 24/7 healthdirect line on 1800 022 222 to speak with a registered nurse, who can advise whether you should attend your local emergency department. You can also contact the ward at the hospital where you underwent your procedure: a nurse can discuss your condition and will contact your Yarra Vascular surgeon after hours if necessary. You may be directed to your regular GP for support and ongoing management. For sudden severe symptoms, call Triple Zero (000). Referring a patient?
